Ryan Whitaker Med Center
Ryan's Story - A Life with a Legacy
Ryan Paul Whitaker had a heart as big as Texas. He loved people and he wanted to help people everywhere. Just twelve days before his death, Ryan told his Mother, Paula, that he wanted to go back to school at Lone Star College, in Tomball, and study to become a nurse.
When his mother asked him why, he announced, “I want to help people, Mom.”
Ryan’s words, “I want to help people,” have given Paula direction for her life now - to honor God by honoring Ryan’s memory and his last wishes.
In keeping with Ryan’s last wish, TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries was chosen as one way to carry on Ryan’s love for people by showing the Love of Jesus to families in need.
Those who need health care - physical, emotional, and spiritual care- now receive it through TOMAGWA's programs and the support provided through Ryan’s life and legacy.
The Ryan Paul Whitaker Memorial Foundation is based on the desires of the benefactor and on the following scripture:
“... I was sick and you ministered unto me... The Lord said, I tell you the truth, whenever you have done these things unto the least of these my brothers, you have done it unto Me.” -Matthew 25: 40
Paula Whitaker announces the naming of The Ryan Paul Whitaker Memorial Medical Center, which houses TOMAGWA
HealthCare Ministries.
